The Madeleine Choir School's newly constructed, 16,900 sq. ft. athletic facility and early childhood center, will be ready to welcome our Pre-kindergarten students early November.

MCS Student Council presented a remarkable experience to witness the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our school community!

Once a month, The Madeleine Choir School’s St. Dunstan Choir, walks to the Capitol Hill Senior Living Community to spend time visiting with the residents. On Wednesday, May 8 St. Dunstan took their final walk to the senior community before pausing their visits for the summer break.

We are very proud of Choir School eighth-grade student for representing MCS at the Northern Utah Regional Spelling Bee this past weekend! He had a strong showing, and was ultimately stumped by "tehuantepecer." We are so proud of you!

In the heart of Salt Lake City, a unique collaboration has flourished between the Utah Opera and the Madeleine Choir School. This extraordinary partnership, rooted in a shared passion for the arts and a commitment to nurturing young talents, has not only enriched the cultural landscape of the community but has also provided a platform for budding musicians and singers to showcase their talents.

World-renowned choral conductor, Stephen Layton, will be in residence at The Madeleine Choir School on Thursday and Friday. We are privileged to have this master of the choral art work with our choristers!

Choristers of the Cathedral of the Madeleine’s Choir School will be performing in Utah Opera’s production of Puccini’s La boehme October 7-15 at the Janet Quinney Lawson Capital Theatre. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the range of talent in these young students.

Caritas in Veritate & Fratelli Tutti: Two Popes - Two Letters to the World An adult education opportunity looking at the Letters of Two Popes to the Church and World: Caritas in Veritate by Pope Benedict XVI and Fratelli tutti by Pope Francis.

Opera! Ballet! Symphony! Choir School students in grades 5-8 will have the opportunity to attend classical concerts around Salt Lake City with MCS music staff!
