MCS Basketball added Seven New Trophies to the Collection Last Weekend

$Fourth Grade Boys\' MCS Red team pictured in their black uniforms.$ $Both MCS fourth grade boys\' teams, all pictured here, competed against each other in the championship game, finishing in First Place and Second Place, respectively. The MCS Black team (in gray uniforms) beat the MCS Red team (in black uniforms) 46-36.$ $Mrs. Sandberg was obviously caught in a tough position with students on both fourth grade boys\' team competing for the championship.$ $The Sixth Grade Boys\' took second place in a close game, including a late-game comeback.$

$Six of our seven new trophies are displayed here on Mrs. Corroon\'s desk.$

Congratulations to our student-athletes for their fine effort and sportsmanship at the 2016 UCAA basketball tournament finals.
Pictured here is the 7th Grade Girls' Team. They brought home the award we cherish the most at MCS: the Sportsmanship Award. Great job!
