  The Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School performed the National Anthem for the Utah Jazz v. Phoenix Suns game on February 6, 2019. The performance was the third time in the last two years that MCS partnered with the Utah Jazz, including an NHL pre-season game at Vivint Smart Home Arena in September 2018.

• 1:58 MCS Adds New Bus to Fleet Thanks to the David Kelby Johnson Memorial Foundation

  The Madeleine Choir School took delivery of an 84-passenger school bus in early December. The bus was made possible by grant funding from the David Kelby Johnson Memorial Foundation.
  The Madeleine Choir School was introduced to Elizabeth Johnson over a decade ago when she heard the student choristers sing in the Cathedral of the Madeleine. It was through Mrs. Johnson’s love and appreciation of the choir that the school has been fortunate enough to receive the needed funding to purchase a new bus. The David Kelby Johnson Memorial Foundation continues to carry out Elizabeth’s wishes to give to those in need in the name of her grandson. The procurement of the new bus has given the school the opportunity to strengthen its transportation system and continue to offer this service to students across the Wasatch Front.

  On Monday, October 30, 2017, the Chorister of the Madeleine Choir School performed a brilliant rendition of the National Anthem before the Utah Jazz tipped off against the Dallas Mavericks. Inspired by the performance the Jazz went on to victory over Mavericks 104-89.

As we reach out to our community to raise the final $200,000 needed Mr. Glenn and Principal Baillie give us an insiders tour illustrating the difficult nature of this project and the many unknown structural deficiencies that have now been corrected with the help of our amazing partners at Okland Construction and MJSA Architects.
