Ms. Katelin Turner

A native of Salt Lake City, Ms. Katelin Turner completed her undergraduate education at the University of Oregon in 2015. Post-graduation, Ms. Turner spent a few years heading down a different career path in Oregon and has been back in Salt Lake City since 2019. After returning to Utah, Ms. Turner spent some time reflecting on her career and realized education was where she was meant to be!

This is Ms. Turner’s third year at MCS, and her first year in third grade. She spent the 2020-21 school year as a Teaching Assistant in second grade. In 2021, Ms. Turner embarked on earning a Graduate Certificate in Teaching with Licensure from Weber State University and has plans to continue on with the program to earn a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

Outside of school (work and personal!) Ms. Turner can usually be found in one of Utah’s mountain ranges. Whether it’s hiking to find a new peak in summer or taking full advantage of Utah’s ski resorts in winter, Ms. Turner loves to be outdoors! She also enjoys cooking for family and friends, spending time with her puppy, Pepper, or traveling to visit friends across the country. 

Ms. Turner is so grateful to have found a home at Madeleine Choir School!
