As the proud parent of an MCS alumnus, I am delighted to return to this community in a professional role. I look forward to inspiring students to discover new cultures, build meaningful connections, and develop confidence through the study of the Spanish language.
For more than 20 years, I have worked as a bilingual writer and editor, specializing in both English and Spanish. My work has earned national and international recognition through multiple professional awards. Throughout my career, I have also provided translation services and private Spanish tutoring, helping learners develop strong communication skills. My editorial experience includes positions with the Salt Lake Tribune, and The Brownsville Herald and El Nuevo Heraldo in Texas.
I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive classroom where students feel encouraged to communicate, explore diverse perspectives, and appreciate the richness of the Spanish-speaking world.
