Ms. Astrid Caruso-Lynch
Astrid Caruso-Lynch came to The Madeleine Choir School as Director of Advancement in October of 2023. She moved to Salt Lake from Seattle, WA, where she was Constituency Relations Officer at the University of Washington School of Music. Originally hailing from the Philadelphia area, Astrid grew up singing as a chorister at Trinity Episcopal Church in Princeton, NJ. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Church Music and Organ Performance from St. Olaf College, and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the O'Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Astrid brings a wide range of arts experience, having worked as a professional musician as well as in nonprofit/church marketing and communications, administration, and development. She is passionate about the mission of the Choir School, and loves connecting with the many people who share this appreciation for our extraordinary community.
In her free time, Astrid enjoys hiking, cooking and baking, and traveling with her spouse, Christopher, who also serves on the MCS staff as Artist-in-Residence.
