William, second grade, won 1st place in the Child Artist age 9 and under category! Fern, first grade, won 2nd place in the same category! William and Fern's art was on display at the Avenues Street Fair for attendees to view and vote on. Both students took home a ribbon and a gift certificate to a local art store. We celebrated this big achievement at morning announcements, where both were met with congratulations and love from our MCS community!
We are so proud of these students and their talent! We can't wait to see what they create next!
