Ms. Foy is the Information & Technology Literacy teacher and Librarian at the Madeleine Choir School. She firmly believes information literacy is the basis for lifelong learning. Through direct instruction at all grade levels, she has the responsibility that students at The Madeleine Choir school learn research and information literacy methods, media literacy skills, and are encouraged to become engaged readers. In addition to teaching, she also manages the school's library where students are free to visit during recess to explore books and periodicals, get research assistance, and share time reading with friends.

Originally from Indiana, Ms. Foy holds a Masters in Library Science degree from Indiana University, as well as a Bachelors degree in the History of Art from Indiana University. Having grown up in the mid-west, she loves watching college basketball to root for her beloved Hoosiers, and she is known to block out her Saturdays in the fall to watch the Notre Dame Irish play football.
