The Madeleine Summer Experience Cancellation Policy

We know that plans can change, and we are eager to help your summer scheduling process go as smoothly as possible. In the event you need to cancel your camper's registration for a camp, please see our cutoff dates below:

  • All cancellations communicated by 5:00 PM on May 31st are eligible for a full refund (less a $25 transaction fee per camp).
  • All cancellations communicated at least two weeks before your camp begins (14 days prior to the start date) are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • In the event of any last minute schedule changes, all cancellations communicated by 5:00 PM the Thursday prior to your camp's Monday start date are eligible for a 20% refund.

We understand that sometimes campers fall ill the day before (or morning of) camp! Unfortunately, any cancellations made over the Friday-Sunday before your camp's start date (or during the camp itself) are ineligible for a refund. This is so we are able to budget correctly for camp staff and camper supplies. We appreciate your understanding! 

To cancel your camper's registration: send an email to [email protected] with your camper's name and the camp(s) which you would like to cancel. When our staff receives your written notice of cancellation, we will issue the appropriate refund amount (see the cutoff dates above) and we will let you know when the refund has been issued. Please note that many banks may take between 5-7 business days to issue a refund once we have sent the refund from our bank. We are unable to process any refunds for cancellations made verbally (in person or over the phone). Thank you for helping us to keep accurate records!
