Kate Blair
Ms. Blair, originally from the Teton Valley, was raised in a Catholic household and attended public school in rural Idaho. She pursued her undergraduate degree in dance pedagogy for multilingual learners in Utah, followed by a graduate degree in elementary education at Westminster University. Currently at the Choir School, Ms. Blair teaches core content, theology, and social emotional learning to 4th grade students. She finds fulfillment in supporting students' academic growth, sense of belonging, faith formation, and identity development as learners, artists, and community members.
As an educator at MCS, Ms. Blair cultivates a rich learning environment through open discussions about emotional wellness, the arts, and human purpose. She believes our surroundings inspire beauty and encourage genuine inquiry into truth and the human condition, creating a vibrant atmosphere for learning and growth.
Outside of school, Ms. Blair is actively involved in dance, yoga, and serves as a women's group leader at the Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center. She enjoys quality time with loved ones, cooking and baking, hosting gatherings, writing, playing guitar, outdoor activities like camping and hiking, reading, and savoring a good scone with coffee.
