Mrs. Shellee Hoag

History Instructor for Grades 6 and 7

• Bachelor of Education, Western Governors University

Shellee was born and raised in Utah. She attended Utah Valley University and worked as a Medical Assistant for years before returning to school to obtain her teaching degree. She obtained a Bachelor of Education from Western Governors University. Shellee has taught for the Canyons and Alpine School Districts and was a reading interventionist for the Alpine School District. She has taught 4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade ELA and History. She is married with two adult children and three adult step children. She loves traveling, hiking, and being in nature. “I love building communities within the classroom. My passion is teaching history, especially Ancient World Civilizations. I enjoy working at MCS and love the community!” When not teaching, she and her husband remodel houses, travel, hike and fly fish.
