Ms. Carla Horta

Mrs. Horta is a native of Mexico and came to the United States when she was 15 years old. She received her Masters in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, she was hired by an independent school in Durham, where she created the K-4th grade Spanish curriculum and taught for 13 years. 

Mrs.Horta and her family moved to Utah from North Carolina in the summer of 2021. She and her family enjoy any activities that involve the outdoors and can't wait to continue to explore what Utah has to offer.
