Mr. Luke Stager

Luke Stager grew up in Beaverton, OR and attended the University of Portland where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. After working as an engineer for two years in the Portland area, he decided to pursue a career in teaching. He became a part of the PACE program (Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education) through the University of Portland, during which time he earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and taught at St. Joseph Catholic High School in Ogden, UT, teaching math and theology. After his time in PACE, he taught math and theology as well as ran the Campus Ministry Program at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City. In 2015, he returned from Utah to Oregon and studied at Mount Angel Seminary for four years. He taught science (and even English) at Seton Catholic College Prep in Vancouver, WA for the last two years.

In his free time, he loves hiking, road trips, and especially music and singing. He has been a part of various choirs for nearly his whole life including the adult choir at the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Mr. Stager is also a collector of various musical instruments, though his skill at each one is highly variable. Mr. Stager loves integrating his faith into every aspect of life and exploring the interplay of faith and science. He looks forward to being a part of the MCS community once again!
