Matt was born and raised in Salt Lake City. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication from Westminster College, and has over a decade of fundraising experience including his work over the last eight years as the Director of Advancement at The Madeleine Choir School. Matt spent five years at the University of Utah Development Office before joining the MCS staff in July 2012, and has over a decade of business management experience in other leadership roles throughout his career. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his family, including tennis, golf, mountain biking, and hiking among others.
