MCS After School Programs

Mad Science Club

Our hands-on, science programs are themed around a particular area of science and include such topics as electricity, magnetism, optics, biology and many more. During our programs, children engage in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves like model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science putty, and more!  The Mad Science Club meets every Wednesday.

Artfirst ArtePrimero

MCS is excited to announce that we will be offering another session of Artfirst ArtePrimero. Arteprimero classes emphasize the artwork of Latino Great Masters: Fernando Botero, Frida Kahlo, and Pablo Picasso. We have also included a special session on Latino leaders, authors, and culinary arts where available. The class is designed for children K-6th grade. Through the duration of the program, we engage in traditional celebrations for holidays, performance and special events. We offer a safe, loving and artistic environment where your children will learn Spanish through immersion. Please look for announcements on dates, times and costs in our weekly newsletters.
