Mrs. Amy Bertrand

Though she was born in Aurora, IL, Mrs. Amy Bertrand, grew up in Utah and attended Catholic Schools: St. Vincent de Paul and Judge Memorial High. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA, in communications, English, and writing.  Beginning in 2017, Mrs. Bertrand began teaching Kindergarten at The Madeleine Choir School. Recently, she completed her  M.Ed, Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education, from Arizona State University.

With her husband, they share two sons, Oliver and Jude, both of whom are students at The Madeleine Choir School. Mrs. Bertrand loves to read, and some of her favorite publications include: NPR; The New York Times; The Atlantic; NAEYC; The NSTA; and Edutopia.

Aside from changing the lives of many children, Mrs. Bertrand would love complete her “bucket list” by visiting every continent!
