Mad Science Club
Our hands-on, science programs are themed around a particular area of science and include such topics as electricity, magnetism, optics, biology and many more. During our programs, children engage in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves like model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science putty, and more! The Mad Science Club meets every Wednesday and runs from September 9 through October 28. The fee is $78 or $75 if you register online a week before the class start date. Register today at:
MCS is excited to announce that we will be offering another session of Artfirst ArtePrimero in the 2015-2016 school year. Arteprimero classes emphasize the artwork of Latino Great Masters: Fernando Botero, Frida Kahlo, and Pablo Picasso. We have also included a special session on Latino leaders, authors, and culinary arts where available. The class is designed for children K-6th grade. Through the duration of the program, we engage in traditional celebrations for holidays, performance and special events. We offer a safe, loving and artistic environment where your children will learn Spanish through immersion. Please look for announcements on dates, times and costs in our weekly newsletters.
Zaniac Sugar House will, once again, bring their engaging technology curriculum straight to The Madeleine Choir School students in the 2015-2016 school year! Your child learns with their peers in a fun team format, while developing critical reasoning skills. Please call 801-997-8580 for more information.
